Experimental Art Book – 2020

Phyl (as in Phylum) is photography flip book and case study in machine learning. The flipbook is comprised of AI generated images that sequentially blend from one object to another eg.( flamingo to golf-ball). Each frame of this animation is then defined a by a language machine learning model that assigns a title to each image, making for hauntingly beautiful incites into they way the machines of today process and understand art.
